April 13, 2006. Thursday. Air shot. Don't think, run. April, 9. 2006 There are three big home delivery companies in Japan, "Kuroneko-Yamato", "Pelican" and "Sagawa". In spite of the size of enterprise, It is said that Sagawa is less-creditworthy than other two especially by internet auction users. Someone says Sagawa's service is sometimes very slow, and someone says Sagawa broke a item in the package. And some package was lost they says. I hate to believe rumor without to go and to see for myself. So I didn't write about the rumor yesterday though I knew my PC I bought had sent by Sagawa. I wrote it today because I felt the service is slow. Sony sent my PC last evening from Matsumoto city 400 km from my house. And though it had arrived at Matsusaka branch office 20 km from my house at this morning, I couldn't receive it today. In Japan, express package arrive next day except for package to isolated island and so on. Probably they use large autotruck to deliverly packages to decrease the cost per package. It may cause a delay of deliverly, because they may wait for the carrier filled when package in a branch office was few, and because it may need more time to deliver all package in the carrier when package is much. And then, large autotruck may cause a damage to the packages and loss of package. Thier all is only my supposition but likly to be. Copyright 2006 barista. All rights reserved. |
